Tecno has some flagship phones like Phantom, Camon, Spark, Pova and Pop. The latest of the tecno brand is Phantom X2 and Camon 19. Spark 9T is also one of the widely used phones by the average income person.
Infinix Mobile founded in 2013 designs it phones in France and produce across different countries which includes china and india. Infinix also have brands like Zero, Hot, Note and Smart. Their latest phones include Zero 5G 2023, Hot 20 Play, and Note 12 2023. Where all these phones have from 50megapixels camera and above and storage from 64gigabyte and above.

Apart from these two brands, the market has also been graced with phones like Poco, Xiaomi, Oneplus, Vivo, Huawei, Oppo, Honor and many more.
When choosing to purchase one of these phones what to look out for is;

COST.
How much does the phone costs? The cost from the manufacturer usually is determined by the specs of the phones. Prices in Ghana for Tecno phones ranges from Ghc1000.00 to Ghc8,370.00. Same as infinix phones.

QUALITY AND DURABILITY.
“Cheap things don’t last” but I bought Camon 11 and used it for 4 years 9months. Other phones also last longer but the whole catch here is, when you buy it low price, it won’t last long enough for you. But this china phones have defile that notion. Out of 10 people using smartphone, 6 is using china phone.

ACCESSORIES.
The convenience of getting parts to replace a damaged one is another factor to look out for when making a phone purchasing decision. You have to consider the cost of getting these accessories. Unlike samsung and others the “China Phones” accessories are affordable and easy to find in the market to purchase.

UPDATES.
Some phones updates comes in gigabytes and also can sometimes be done by experts and technicians, unlike the “China Phones”which uses open sources android, updates can easily be done by the user and less expensive.

DATA USAGE COST.
These so called “China Phones” uses less data when downloading and using the internet. For instance when downloading WhatsApp unto a china phone it size is 34mb but iPhone is over 100mb. You can also easily download anything you want unto the china phone but there’s a lot of restrictions on downloading on other phones.

BATTERY LIFE.
iPhone users always complain about their phones battery health. Which is also another aspect to lookout for when purchasing used iPhone. IPhone users are always carrying their chargers when leaving home. Android (China Phones) have longer battery life, you don’t have to be on the move with your charger.

When you have the funds why not go for the phones and samsung phones but as an average Ghanaian, do a bit of ghost shopping and compare specification and it prices and get one that suits your preferences and funds.
